Advance Your Expertise in Construction Management
The Graduate Certificate in Construction Management prepares professionals to lead construction projects from planning through completion with confidence and expertise. Designed for engineers, technical professionals, and individuals with relevant industry experience, the program combines construction engineering fundamentals with essential business and management concepts.
Through a flexible, practice-oriented curriculum, students develop skills in project delivery, scheduling, estimating, cost control, risk management, and construction law and ethics. Coursework emphasizes leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making, helping graduates manage budgets, schedules, safety requirements, and stakeholder expectations in a rapidly evolving industry.
The certificate also serves as a pathway to the MS in Civil Engineering with a Construction Management focus. Certificate credits can be applied toward the master’s degree, requiring only 15 additional credits for completion.
