Advance Your Expertise in Critical Technology and Digital Media for Learning
In the Graduate Certificate program in Digital Media and Technology for Learning, you’ll gain the skills and insight to thoughtfully integrate technology into education. You will learn to examine, contextualize and critique educational technologies so you can make sound, research-based decisions about which tools best support teaching and learning. Through hands-on projects, you’ll create original digital content such as digital stories, simple video game, or photo voice pieces by working through an iterative design process that emphasizes purpose and audience. You’ll also use digital media technologies to promote collaboration, dialogue and authentic learning, helping students connect and engage more deeply.
Designed for educators, instructional designers, administrators and school technology leaders, this graduate-level certificate combines practical application with critical analysis. By the end of the program, you’ll be ready to lead in technology-rich learning environments, design engaging digital experiences and guide colleagues and institutions in equitable, innovative technology adoption that enriches teaching and learning across diverse settings.
