Pitt Law’s Online Graduate Certificate in International Business Law (IBL) is designed to give you the knowledge and practical tools to navigate international transactions with confidence. Taught by Pitt Law faculty and experienced legal professionals, the program covers U.S. and international business law, cross-border contracts, intellectual property, taxation, compliance, insurance and risk management. You will learn to identify contractual risks, apply mitigation strategies, and resolve disputes that arise in cross-border commerce. You will also explore dispute resolution strategies including negotiation, mediation, arbitration and litigation. In your final seminar, you will apply this knowledge to a real-world case study involving a multi-jurisdictional investment dispute.
